4. Rich Communication Solution
4.1 Voice Communication
ONLY NETWORK provides secure and reliable voice call service, enabling encrypted communication between nodes. Taking the inherent benefits of P2P, voice communication will no longer rely on traditional centralized servers, enabling end-to-end connections between users. This will reduce the use of intermediate nodes and avoid the data leakage problem of centralized servers. At the same time, the P2P routing algorithm will adopt a compromise solution to minimize the burden on the P2P network while ensuring high-quality communication for users and avoiding UDP flooding which affects network performance. In addition, the voice call service adopts a combination of symmetric and asymmetric encryption to ensure data security while ensuring communication stability and efficiency.
4.2 Video Communication
ONLY NETWORK also provides high-quality video call service. Since voice call is a subset of a video call, video call service reuses voice call technology, giving it all the advantages of voice call service. At the same time, the video call data will be compressed as much as possible after high-quality stream coding and encoded into packets adapted to P2P networks. With the UDP stream packet sequencing technology, ONLY NETWORK can ensure a better video call experience even in an unstable network environment.
4.3 Multiple-User Communication
In addition to two-user communication, we also support group voice/video calling. ONLY NETWORK generates a symmetric key dedicated to a multi-user call, and the newly joined user will obtain this key from the one on the call via asymmetric encryption.
Using asymmetric encryption can avoid message leakage caused by the leakage of the symmetric encryption key. Compared with using only asymmetric key communication, users use symmetric key communication to improve the encryption and decryption efficiency of communication. Also, with the optimized routing algorithm, the call packets will be sent only to the users who have joined the call, which further reduces the risk of call content leakage while ensuring the efficiency of the call.
